THE BEGINNING OF A LIVING LEGACY.
The inaugural Community Day & Memorial Walk honored Vaughn Parker Jr.’s life and his commitment to service and connection in Hampton Roads. Families gathered in a welcoming space with wellness support, educational information and local community resources.
Children enjoyed activities while volunteers and neighbors worked side by side to serve warm meals. Shared food created the togetherness and hospitality that Vaughn championed.
The day closed with a memorial walk. Friends, family and neighbors shared stories, tears and laughter, remembering Vaughn together. More than an event, the gathering became a living legacy of compassion, community and connection.
