THE CLASSROOM IS PART OF THE CAMP.
Campers split each day between the classroom and the field. Alongside defensive-line training, they worked on confidence, communication and leadership—skills that matter long after the final whistle.
In the classroom, athletes crafted and delivered elevator speeches, developed and pitched group business plans, practiced mock press conferences and public speaking, and talked about mental health, goal setting and life beyond sports.
MENTORS WHO SHOW UP.
Mentors and guest speakers included co-founder and NFL athlete Jalyn Holmes; defensive-line trainer and former NFL player Eli Harold; Christopher Newport University assistant defensive-line coach Carson Turner; and Rennell Marshall, an outpatient therapist at CHKD and student-athlete mental-health and well-being counselor at Old Dominion University.
Reggie Prevail, CEO of Prevail Group and founder of Prevail Foundation; Kevion Latham, CEO of GreenRose Wealth Group; and Scott Booker, a mental-health case manager from Columbus, Ohio, also shared their experience.
On the field, Jalyn Holmes, Eli Harold, Scott Booker and Coach Turner provided professional-level coaching and skills development. The result combined high-impact football training with genuine mentorship that extended beyond the game.
